Your home is your oasis. A little corner of earth that you get to claim as an extension of yourself! Here are some tips to help you get started:

Wait for Inspiration 

What vibe are you going for in your house? What colors are you drawn to? What furniture and other elements do you already have that you want to keep? Every room doesn’t have to match, but it’s important to utilize what you’ve already got and make a plan or mood board to start.

Find Abstract Pieces for Relaxing Parts of the House

The bathroom should carry on a serene and calming picture that is welcoming to you and all your guests. 

Try to Avoid Purchasing Trendy Décor

This especially applies to children’s rooms where we tend to love character-based things that they’ll grow out of and get rid of later. Look for timeless items that won’t age over time.
